Boulcott WOW Show!

We loved doing WOW!
Our favourite parts included:

  • making our costumes
  • spotting our family in the audience
  • being on stage
  • having the coloured lights make us stand out
  • hearing the audience cheer
  • showing off our dance moves
  • singing "Happy" at the end
Don't forget to add a post of what you thought of WOW!

Amazing Wearable Art!

Created using Pic Collage. http://pic-collage.com

WOW! We were AMAZING at our World Of Wearable Arts show. We made the story "The day the crayons quit" come alive! We had a fantastic time showing off our incredible costumes and also our fantastic dance moves to a clapping and cheering audience! Some of us were a little nervous at first but you'd never have known it!

These are photos taken by Miss Kibblewhite backstage on our second performance night!

Don't we look FANTASTIC!

Some backstage pictures from WOW!

It was pretty crazy backstage at times but we managed to get group photos of most of the stars in Room 14!

A building update

We are all very impressed with how quickly the builders are working! This is now the view from our window!

Library time

Created using Pic Collage. http://pic-collage.com

We love our library... but sadly it is needed as a new classroom space
so this was our last visit for the year!
Ellie (our class photographer this week) took some great photos of us enjoying this awesome space that we will really miss!

WOW rehearsal!

Off to a run thru of our item in the school hall...
a bit of a test to see if our costumes will hold together while we move around to "We're not gonna take it" as protesting crayons!

The girls do their Hip Hop thing too!

The boys do their Hip Hop thing!

Odd shoe day dancing feet!

Check out all the odd shoes on the move in Room 14... can you spot yours?
Maybe you can recognise your huffing and puffing... because it did take us a few goes to get the video right!

Where's it all gone?

Mr Nikora has been growing his hair for a REALLY LONG time and today it was all shaved off!
Why not post a comment on what you
think of his new look!

Odd shoe day

Room 14 had some sensational ODD shoes!!!
What a fun way to raise money for such a worthy cause as Camp Quality. ..an organisation full of volunteers that give children a week full of fun to forget, for just a little bit, the struggles they are going through.
Thanks to everyone that gave so generously!
If you'd still like to make a donation to help support camp quality visit

Mr Nikora loses his gorgeous locks for Camp Quality

It was quite exciting seeing Mr Nikora have all his hair shaved off!
It was also quite loud with everyone screaming and yelling
(so make sure your volume is turned down before you push play on the video!)

Building progress

The building is progressing pretty well outside room 14 but at times it can be quite noisy!

"It really goes BANG, BANG, BANG!" said Olivia.
"It can be tough to work with all that noise," commented Abi.

It will be a good challenge for us to learn to focus
even if there are distractions!!!

It will be great to have a new classroom with more space for our little new entrants.

Happy Father's Day

We had some wonderfully creative ideas shared in our Father's Day journal entries.
Here is a compilation for all the fathers of Room 14!
Feel the love!

Dear greatest Dad in the whole wide world!

I love the shimmering twinkle that flashes in your eye every time you smile. I love it when you play funny games with me. You make me feel special. I enjoy how you make me laugh all the time because it makes me smile. I like it when you play with me. I like the way you have fun with me.You are so special that you are in the business of being special! I love to do things with you. I like it when you take us for incredible bike rides. I love it when you give me hugs and kisses. I appreciate all the hard work you do for me. You fill my head with lots of cool and awesome ideas. I like it when you play lego with me. I love the way you can figure out hard maths questions. I like bouncing on the tramp with you because you can bounce me super high! I love it when you tickle me. I love that you give me piggy back rides that make me chuckle. I love that you look after me when I’m sick. I like the way you interest me with funny things. I like it when we watch the news together. You are there for me when I am scared. I love it when we kick a ball around together. You are incomparable in so many ways! Your passing is the best. You are the best Dad I could wish for. I love it when you tell me bedtime stories and read to me. You encourage me all the time. I like the way you smile like the sun and you have a sparkle in your eye. I would never try to compare you to any other Dad. Thank you for teaching me how to tackle. You are loving, kind and cool. You are extraordinary! You are a super hero! You are superman! I hope you have a Happy Father’s Day. I love you!
